I’m not sure if she’s really Obama’s girlfriend. But well she sounded just like Sarah Palin!

Elise Estrada (who we featured at Shopgirl) opened up the show at 8:08. She hit the stage with a DJ and a hypeman/piano player. She had 2 female dancers with her on stage as well. She would perform 10 songs and end her set at 8:50.

Danny Fernandez followed with another opening at 9:06. He would hit the stage with 2 male dancers. Danny Fernandez is more known for his dancing abilities which came as a relief since Elise Estrada’s dancers were more their for their ‘looks’ than their dancing. Danny would throw multiple copies of his newest CD ‘Intro’ into the crowd and they would go crazy! One of Danny’s dancer actually almost fell off the stage while tossing CD’s—that wouldn’t have been good at all since it was a pretty high drop to the floor. Danny Fernandez’s set would end at 9:35.

Girlicious hit the stage at 9:53 with nothing but 4 mic stands. They had some nice track and field style clothing probably sponsored by Adidas. Tiffany was sporting an AWESOME Obama shirt that you can see in the pictures below. (Pictures coming soon) The biggest disappoint of the show however was that Girlicious was lip-syncing their entire set. It was very unfortunate since they did an AMAZING job with their live performance at Blush earlier this year that had no lip syncing at all. Regardless, the girls danced their hearts out and still put on an amazing show for their fans. Their set would end at 10:26.

A big shout out goes out to Stephen and Sound Republic for putting on another amazing show. Since the show was on a Monday night and a lot of the teens attending had school the next day, Sound Republic did an amazing job keeping the show on time and moving forward. Danny Fernandez and Elise Estrada both stayed after to do an autograph signing in the lobby. All ticket holders also got free entrance to the official after party at the EEC with Elise Estrada.

I’m looking forward to Sound Republics next event, Jabbawockeez at the Centennial Concert Hall on Novemeber 11, and I hope its just as organized as this one! Hit the jump for all the photos from our official photographer, Oli.

I just wanted to say to (writing out of grief) i will not be on myspace for a long time. Just a day ago, my bestfriend (sister) past away and i am devestated. I can barley type this. Jus wanted to say she will always be remembered and if anyone knew her they would say that she was a beautiful person inside n out cause she was.

Im such in grief because we grew up together. We played with eachother in the sand boxes since we were two. Back in San Diego she and her family only lives 5 mins away from me and our families were exsactly the same. She has two older brothers as well as i did. Then there was us…. the baby girls of the family. Our parents are still together as well. I will miss her deeply

R&B/Pop stars Rihanna, Ne-Yo and the Pussycat Dolls have all signed to perform at the 36^th Annual American Music Awards on Sunday, November 23^rd.

Joining an already packed list, Pink, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift and New Kids On The Block are also slated to perform during a night filled with numerous award nominations for Alicia Keys, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne including Artist of the Year.

Orly Adelson, dick clark productions president states, “Our 2008 show’s impressive roster of talent makes November 23 a must-see night for any music fan; this is what is special about the AMA’s. No matter what type of music you enjoy, the American Music Awards always delivers the hottest acts across all music genres. It is a music lover’s night to celebrate.”

A source close to the Dolls told the Mirror that Nicole and Lewis have been looking at a townhouse in St John’s Wood and want to sign the deal on the five-bedroom property as soon as possible so they can host a New Year’s Eve party-to-end-all-parties there before the girls’ tour of the UK in January and February.

The source explained: “Nicole can’t wait to pack her bags and move in. She’s so excited about prospect of spending New Year with Lewis and the girls. The girls love London, and are even getting a guestlist ready for their bash and are deciding how much Cristal champagne to get too.”

As that’s sweet!

I have decided that I will also be sharing the latest news about the Pussycat Dolls as well! They are wonder dancers and because of them, we have Girlicious! But this site is a fansite for Girlicious and we will never change that. ;) So now, here are the latest Pussycat Dolls news.

The Pussycat Dolls are heading across the pond for a run of 2009 shows. The girl group, which has an upcoming October 14 show at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, has 10 UK shows currently on the books for the New Year. The performances kick off January 18 at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre in Aberdeen, and continue through a February 6 show at Echo Arena in Liverpool. Other notable shows include a January 27 concert at the O2 Arena and a January 29 gig at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester.

The Pussycat Dolls want to give one lucky fan a special gift at the end of their world tour—a souvenir from every city they play in. The Buttons hitmakers plan to collect a local keepsake on each date of their Doll Domination jaunt next year (2009). And they will celebrate the end of the mammoth run by presenting the trinkets to a fan after their last show. Singer Nicole Scherzinger says, “We’re thinking of collecting a souvenir from each country, putting it all together and giving it away at the end of the tour.”

How exciting! And did anyone see The Pussycat Dolls performing When I Grow Up on the NBC special: Macy’s Passport Celebrity Catwalk Challenge last night at 8pm PST/EST on NBC? Oh my god it’s a awesome video! It’s definitely different from their previous sexy videos like Buttons and When I Grow Up. It’s more western cow boyish? Either way, I love them! Nicole’s white dress looks lovely.

I read the YouTube comments about Nicole getting all the attention and how they should give the other girls a chance. In my opinion, if Nicole is good in singing, they made the right choice to let her do the singing. The other girls may be good in dancing but not in singing. Anyway if you have not bought Doll Domination yet, you better buy it!
